Book Alert!: A Boy Named Jo

Hey guys! I've been working on a book called 'A Boy Named Jo' coming in 2022.

Two teenage boys from different sides of the tracks who begin to unravel a dark chapter in their home town's past in 1963. A strange fire is the cause of one character's mother's death, and it's implied other characters know more than they're telling.

Jo is seen as being very tomboy-ish based on the way he dresses and his personality. He is free-spirited and very adventurous. He mostly wears an old hat with flannels and cuffed trousers.

In small-town Mill-Heights in 1963, the life of pampered rich boy Richard, changes when he befriends A BOY NAMED JO -- Jo Chambers, the school misfit. At first, Richard's put off by Jo's quirks, but soon grows to love his playfulness, sincerity, and bravery -- especially in the face in the untimely death of his mom after a mysterious fire. When the two join together to figure out just what happened to Jo's mom and why, Mill-Heights will never be the same.
