In Paris, with Jules and Dylan on a date. “This is the perfect date. I can’t believe you brought us to Paris.” Jules said. “We waited so long, I just want this to be special,” Dylan said. Jules comments on how he wishes he could stay there forever. It turns out, however, that this is two different actors rehearsing a scene in a movie, directed by Dylan and Kevin. Despite protests from the actors, Dylan insists that they do the take again, as it has to be perfect.

Meanwhile, on his way to school Jules was skipping and hopping to school with Mickey, Jeremy, and Kyle. “I seriously hope we can perform at the spring fling,” Jules said. “Hope, have some faith we’re gonna crush auditions later.” Jeremy encouraged Jules. “Yeah, but only one group gets to perform. What if Full Moon beats us again?” Jules asked. “Don’t even go there,” Kyle answered. The conversation then turns into who they will ask to the dance.

Mickey, Kyle, and Jeremy. “Jules, please end this madness please just go ask Dylan.” Jermaine said. “Dylan? I mean it would be nice to go to a dance together,” Jules said. “I would wear a nice outfit, he’d give me a corsage, and we dance the night away and maybe…” Jules describes how he would want to have his perfect night with Dylan. “Maybe… What?!” The boys yelled. “The night would end with our first kiss,” Jules said. “Jules, you never kissed someone before?” Mickey asked. “Unlike you have,” Jeremy said. “Hey, do you know what would be even better?” Kyle asked. The boys didn’t know what to say. “To sing and dance.” Kyle finished his answer.

On their way to school, while they’re singing and dancing, they are interrupted by Principal Miller, who says that they are not allowed to sing in the hallways, to which Kyle finds strange, as he always sings in the hallway.

In the classroom, the boys discuss Principal Miller. “Who was that nasty man?” Jeremy asked. “ I heard he’s the new history teacher,” Mickey said. “He looks more like a math teacher to me,” Jules said. While they were discussing Principal Miller, Damian and Eric walked up to them. Damian claims that Full Moon will crush Mill-Heights Dance Team at the tryouts and get dates to the dance before them. Damian says that he always thought Dylan was cute, which triggered Jules, who tells Damian to stay away from Dylan and his friends.

The conversation ends as Senõr Rodriguez prepares to start class. Henry, a student who is fond of principal Miller, leaves the classroom and tells him that everyone is talking about the dance, and no one seems concerned about academics.

While hanging out with Kevin and Nathan, Dylan asks if they can do a reshoot on the movie. Nathan is confused about why they aren’t done with the movie yet and tells Kevin that his basketball skills will get rusty. Kevin remarks that you have to make sacrifices for art. The two soon get into a fight. “Stop, you guys. No wonder you guys haven’t been asked to the dance yet.” Dylan said. “Chill, Dylan we’re just playing,” Nathan said. “Yeah, and last time I checked you didn’t have a date either,” Kevin said. “I will just as soon as the film is done.” Dylan said.

At the Library, Jeremy arrives at the library, where he takes notice of a guy named Davis. He puts headphones on and sings, only to be stopped by Davis, who is trying to study. “Sorry, I just get lost in the clouds sometimes.” Jeremy apologizes. “But, you have a beautiful voice and so are you.” Davis complemented. “Look, buddy, I don’t know what you’re trying to do, but if you’re trying to get me to the dance just to let you know I’m going by myself.” Jeremy confronted Davis. This is not Davis’ intention, however, as he doesn't want to go to the dance. This makes Jeremy feel better, and Davis proceeds to help him with polynomials.

Also in the library, Kevin raves about Dylan's film to Jules and compliments Dylan's direction. “Is Dylan a good director?” Jules asked. “Better than good. He’s perfect. Not a single thing out of place. I gotta go, but, Jules I can tell this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.” Kevin Explained. “Dylan wants perfect. Not a single thing is out of place.” Jules quoted Kevin.

Before asking Mickey who he will attend the Spring Fling with. Mickey explains that he has some people in mind, and tells Kevin to text him. Mickey asks Dylan if Kevin is going to the dance with anyone, to which Dylan answers that no one has asked him yet. Which declares that Mickey wants to ask Kevin to the Spring Fling.
