After School, Senõr Rodriguez holds auditions for who will perform at the dance. Nathan performs, but he is stopped when he and one of the girls get too close for comfort. The Mill-Heights Dance Team goes to audition, and they are joined by Full Moon on the stage. The two teams have a dance battle. Meanwhile, in front of the school, Henry questions if Dylan and Kevin are allowed to videotape at the school. He tells them to follow him.
At the Auditions, Senõr Rodriguez was proud of everyone who auditioned. “And the winner is…” Senõr Rodriguez was trying to finish but, with The Mill-Heights growing with fear and heart pumping. “Full Moon.” Senõr Rodriguez finished. The Full Moon Dance Team was excited and happy that they got to perform at the Spring Fling, but Senõr Rodriguez wasn’t finished.
“Mill-Heights Dance Team.” Senõr Rodriguez said. The Full Moon and Mill-Heights Dance team were confused. “It was a tie, so you will perform together.” Senõr Rodriguez explained. “Um, no comprendo,” Damian said in Spanish. “This is unacceptable,” Johnny said. “It never made sense why we have two Dance Teams, anyway,” Senõr Rodriguez added on, “So, problem solved. You dance together.” This angers Johnny and Damian.
The two teams storm to the Principal's office. When the boys went to the office Jules saw Dylan, “Dylan, what are you doing filming here?” Jules asked. “I don’t know,” Dylan added, “but can you meet on the football field later?” Dylan said. The assistant Principal told the boys that their original Principal is at a Dentist appointment. “So, that horrible man is our substitute principal.” Mickey said to the boys. The dance teams talk to Principal Miller, but he tells all the students that they must put academics first and that no tank tops or ripped jeans are allowed, annoying Johnny and Damian.
At the Football Field, Jules meets up with Dylan, who is working on the Film. “How’s the film coming along?” Jules asked. “How did you know?” Dylan also asked. “Kevin told me.” Jules explained. “I’m trying to get some extra shots while the light is perfect.” Dylan said. “You’re really into things being perfect?” Jules asked. “The smallest detail can ruin the entire scene. That’s why doing things yourself is great because you can get things just right.” Dylan explained. “Hey, I got a couple of shots around town wanna come along?” Dylan asked. Jules agreed.
The whole day they were riding bikes, talking, taking Polaroid pictures. They spend the rest of the day together. When Dylan took Jules home. “Thanks for letting me tag along. It was really fun.” Jules said. “Yeah, we got some great shots. It's gonna help with my Application.” Dylan said. “Application? You know we’re in 8th Grade.” Jules asked. But Dylan wanted to tell Jules some other time. “Love you, Jules see you later,” Dylan said. “Love you, too,” Jules responded. “What was that?” Roy asked. “Don’t even Roy, we’re just friends until the Spring Fling.” Jules explained.
