Johnny's new friendship takes an unexpected turn.
At the Auditorium, the cast were rehearsing their lines for the play. "Rodeo, Rodeo, wherefore art this rodeo? What is in a name that which we call a horse by any other name would it still smell like manure?" Adrian rehearsing his lines. Jules in his Maroon sweater, Black shorts, and Black and White checkered vans; looking annoyed as he's watching Adrian doing his part. Right by Jules side, Andy was also watching Adrian doing his part.
"So, what do you think?" Andy asked. "Adrian? Adrian's great." Jules answered even though he wasn't being truthful. "You don't sound so sure. Come on, you can be honest with me." Andy Stated. "What if when he said "cowboy," he should curtsy and maybe tip his hat a little?" Jules said. "See? Amazing. You should tell Mr. Garcia." Andy encouraged Jules. "Oh, no, I don't want to over step my boundaries." Jules said. "Okay, I'll tell him." Andy said.
Andy told Mr. Garcia of what Adrian should do said. "Thanks, you're so inspired." Adrian complimented Andy. "Actually, it was Jules' suggestion." Andy Said. "Jules? Wow, very good. I see you study very well. Adrian, watch out. He's gonna be better than you in no time." Mr. Garcia Said.
Meanwhile, Johnny was walking down the hallway passing all the cliques and cliches. There was the stupid groups of girls surrounding a locker whispering about something, the nerdy kids arguing over who's GPA was higher, the quiet kids who just stand with their backs to the wall with their headphones in.
As Johnny was passing by the jocks, not really paying attention, he see something coming toward him, from the corner of his eye. He'd turn around and see a football heading toward him, without thinking, he had fast reflexes and caught before it could hit him in the face. Johnny looked at the football in his hands, shocked that he'd caught it when he heard someone calling at him. "Excuse me? Could you toss it over here?" Johnny snapped out of his daze and looked up to see, Reggie the jock. "Oh yeah, sure." Johnny said, throwing a almost perfect spiral to him, "Wow nice toss." Reggie says walking over to Johnny.
"Oh, that? It was nothing." Johnny said trying to act cool, when he was freaking out on the inside. Reggie smiled at Johnny, "You're Johnny right?" Johnny looked at him surprised that he knew his name. "Yes, and you're Reggie, the guy possibly good at every sport." Johnny automatically smack his hand to his mouth covering, thinking how dumb it was to say that. Reggie chuckled, "Nah, I'm really not." Reggie said. "Really? I've seen you play and you are very good." Johnny facepalm, 'why do I keep saying these things' you thought to yourself.' Johnny whispered.
"Well thanks...." Johnny hear the bell ring, "I better go, but I'll hopefully see you around." Reggie says while walking to class. Before Johnny could realize what just happened, the Dance Brothers who were whispering came up behind you. "Do you know who you were just talking to?" Mickey said. "He's like the captain of every sports team." Jules said. "You're so lucky." Jeremy said. They walked off huddled close together.
Later that day, when school was out, Johnny went to his locker and when he'd opened it a note fell out that read, "I really want to talk to you more, call me." When Johnny turned it over, Reggie's number was scrawled on the back. Johnny smiled to himself, this was the best day ever of his life.
